Day 26 - May 26
I am 35. Today is my birthday, and I have never felt the need to fudge or hide my age. More candles on the cake means more light in my life. Since it's MY day, I can and will claim the right to make my own birthday day, or make an outrageous request (like the homemade cherry amaretto cake with white chocolate frosting...Beloved is amazingly patient with me!). I'll plan my own party, not because I don't have to do it, but because I LIKE planning parties.
So, yeah. I'm thirty-five and have nothing to hide. It's a good day.
