five good things

Take a minute and share five good things of your day with the world, uncut.

1. Being told to scoot back into bed to cuddle with Beloved.

2. Lemon poppyseed bread for breakfast.

3. Opening the cabinet and drawer and not wondering where my glasses or silverware is.

4. Beloved's girlfriend saying she felt happy coming here.

5. Boy continues to go pee-pee on the potty unprompted, at least when not diapered.

  1. Congrats on the potty training. With child #32 on the way, simply having one potty trained kid in the house will make the world of difference :-)

  2. I didn't observe anything, but I'm glad of the event that made #3 and #4 possible.

#5 is very good too, esp. if you actually have child #32 on the way. Even if it's just child #2--or if there weren't another child coming--it's still good.

Hang in there, and keep taking moments to focus on the positive. You'll feel better. :)

  3. Ooops. Not sure how child #2 became child #32.

I hate to see that look on mom's face if the idea of having 32 kids was even mentioned.
